Trattoria Maurizi

The place is very nice and it's what we wanted from a traditional trattoria. The portions are good and everything was well made and very tasty. The best part was Maurizio's suggestions like the fish risotto, the homemade pistachio tart and the red wine!! Everything he suggested was just perfect! Thank you Maurizio, we had an amazing dinner!! Trattoria on Como - Bergamo known because in 2023 it won the cazoeula festival. The restaurant is divided into 3 rooms: as soon as you enter there is a counter for breakfast, a small room with a table and a whole wall full of wines and a larger room with more tables all set with cloth tablecloths. It is very bright, welcoming, informal and suitable for families. The staff is friendly, approachable, very discreet and ready to give advice and explanations on the dishes. All dishes were well presented. The meat of the cazouela is well seasoned, tender, not too greasy and tasty (you can request the presence or absence of polenta). I would have eaten more ravioli (there were 8) and despite having butter and bitto they were light. The lamb chops were fried to perfection accompanied by potatoes and songino. The top were the warm blueberries with ice cream (exquisite). The bill is very high but you pay for the quality. Great selection of wines. The only sore point is that, after an outburst, I had to get up to go and change the time on the time disc.
